So today is the day. The last day that is.
Chantal left for her flight early today at 9:50am whilst my flight is at the dreadful time of 7:55pm. So I’m now at the airport waiting until my flight. I thought it best to stay in the airport all day in case anything happened. But the good news is that the Changi airport has some amazing stores and services. You think I’m just writing a blog post right now? I’m actually get a free foot massage from the various machines spread across the airport. My little review on the machine: it’s okay but needs to be more portable so that I can take it home. Also a power point would be nice so that I could sit on this thing all day.
Overall Chantal and I have had an amazing experience in Singapore but we’re glad to be heading home and getting back into our lives. We’ve seen massive shopping centers, jaw-dropping architectural designs, met amazing people, ate delicious food, and had the unsettling feeling of seeing pieces from the Titanic.
Thank you for the support of Iryna, Ross and my Mum and Dad and my sister Amanda. You have helped us incredibly before and during our time here. We wouldn’t have had such a great experience without your help.
UPDATE: You cannot sit on the foot massager for more than half an hour or you can’t stand properly. I’ve learnt the hard way…
We are having a wonderful time in the Smelly City… We will look forward to seeing you both in about two weeks. Not missing home at all. Love and regards….
