We started with breakfast and loaded on the carbs in preparation for all of the water park fun!
We headed over at 9am and immediately ran to a ride called the “Boomerang.’ Well… there were two rides together but we can’t remember the name of the other one. We just called it “The Toilet” because it was one of those rides which spits you out and you go around and round and then get sucked down and out.
Anyway, totally cool. It’s very clean but the main thing we noticed was just how green and cool it is. It wasn’t until midday that it got hot and you couldn’t walk on the tiles. The pools were also nice. And we wish we were able to get our own Gazebo.
We went on all rides but the two “coffin” rides, the Climax and the Pipeline. Chantal sort of chickened out and Chris didn’t want to modify his boardshorts in accordance with the regulations to get sucked through a tube.
So we went for another swim…. and then Chris kicked his toe and split his toenail. A short trip to the First Aid office later and we were happily in the taxi back to the hotel.
Now we are about to head back out to the Galeria for some shoes in preparation for our biking trip and hopefully some tasty din dins.
